Weekly Wrap

I have had ZERO TIME this week, and yet it was more productive than anything I did over spring break, when I had a ton of time. Go figure?

Life Beyond the Blog

For one, I’ve turned in the proposal for my senior thesis! Now I have to actually write the thing, which is a huge next step, but the proposal is at least turned in, and I have more direction than I had before. Always a good thing!

Also, I MET VE SCHWAB AAAAAHHHHH!! Be sure to check out my recap of The Near Witch Tour to hear more about it but AAAAAAHHHH!! She’s basically my favorite author ever and I admire her so much, and it made my night to get the chance to meet her and chat a tiny tiny bit, and for her to sign my books. Easily one of the very best days I’ve had in a long time, and not something that I’ll forget any time soon.

I also managed to read two whole books and the last 200 pages of another book in a single night on Thursday? I was ON FIRE. It’s been a good, productive week.

The Week Ahead

More productivity! I’m entering academic crunch time, since all my papers and presentations are due in April, and it may make me a little scarce around here. I can’t wait until I can stop saying that, but that’s still about a month and some out. And then I have to figure out if balancing blogging and work will be easier, BUT. That is a problem for future me.

In the meantime, I’m going to focus on my papers and squeezing in some more reading here and there so I don’t leave you all totally hanging on the content front. Other than that, we’re winging it next week!

I hope your week has been as good as mine, if not better, and that the week ahead treats you well! See you around!

  1. If it makes you feel better, I can tell you that reading and blogging became much easier after I graduated and got a job. I have more time and brain power for it now. Good luck with the last few weeks! I know it can be exhausting.

  2. congrats on turning in your thesis proposal and meeting VE Schwab AND getting a lot of reading done, go you!!! “that’s a problem for future me” and “we’re winging it” are honestly my current moods, so I’m glad to know I’m in good company at least – I’ve been on spring break but haven’t gotten *anything* done so I’m hoping I’ll be able to make it up next week 😅
