- Since this is a free WordPress plan site, it uses both Jetpack and Akismet
- Jetpack handles the cookies, which you have the ability to accept or reject, when you interact with the following features: comments, subscriptions, and the mobile theme
- Jetpack may collect your name, email, IP address, and website through those features (especially comments), and you can read more on their cookie policy here
- Akismet helps filter out spam, and also collects emails, usernames, IP addresses, and website URLs in order to do its job and keep the spam out of the comments
- WordPress also collects stats, like page views, link clicks, referrers, search engine terms, and IP addresses so I can see which posts are getting the most views, which countries they’re being viewed from, and how they were found; it does not allow me to see specifically who has viewed a post
- If you use the Words Gremlin contact form, I personally am able to see your name, email, website, and the comment you send
- I will only keep information from contact forms for two weeks after the last period of contact, or will remove such information on request
